2. The Service
BudgetIQ helps students track spending, set budgets, and build financial skills through gamified lessons. Features may include Open Banking connections, budgeting tools, AI-generated insights, and community features. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for the information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
- Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Do not use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
- Do not upload content that is harmful, abusive, or infringes others' rights.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
BudgetIQ offers a Free plan and a Premium plan ($3.99/month). Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Prices and features may change; we will give notice of material changes where required. Any payments are processed by third-party app stores or payment providers subject to their terms.
6. Not Financial Advice
BudgetIQ is an educational and budgeting tool. The insights, lessons, and summaries we provide are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consider your own circumstances and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third parties, including Open Banking providers and app stores. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their actions.
8. Intellectual Property
BudgetIQ and its content, logos, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our permission.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BudgetIQ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service means you accept the changes.
